Krista Kalish
Partner, VP of Custom Services
Through technology and creative balance, Krista specializes in how companies transform content to impact their business goals. By focusing on client engagements, she ensures clients diagnose the right blend of learning strategies that will help an organization’s learners best absorb knowledge. Krista is a conscientious advocate for clients, helping them define their learning objectives in terms of business results and facilitating the transformation of how individuals and organizations approach learning through technology.
With a contagious enthusiasm for quality and demonstrated history of creating innovative solutions that meet complex challenges, Krista helps customers align internal and external resources to produce highly effective learning programs that achieve business goals. With a background in some of the most revolutionary eLearning companies, like Mastering Computers, KnowledgeNet, and Thomson NETg, she brings more than 15 years of eLearning expertise to EdgePoint Learning; proven expertise such as being a top performer at Mastering Computers before it was sold to Platinum Technology for $181.7 M in 1998, and receiving the Rainmaker Award at KnowledgeNet twice.
During the late ‘90s, Krista was among the first to propose and help clients implement computer-based training across their enterprise network and encourage best practices for eLearning programs, enabling clients to save time and money. Since the inception of eLearning, when the Internet was crawling with innovation, Krista has been an integral instrument of its growth, working with companies pioneering custom eLearning and embarking on the true essence of using computers and technology to train their employees, partners and customers. Krista is also an active member of the American Society of Training and Development. She has an infectious entrepreneurial spirit and continues to surround herself with innovators and creative people. As an avid cook and gardener, she loves living in Arizona.
Corey Bleich
Partner, VP of Product Development and Operations
As an experienced executive with business analysis and employee management specialties, Corey Bleich brings more than 15 years of program design and project management experience to EdgePoint Learning. Corey consults with clients on their business needs to design creative solutions and implementation strategies that exceed customer expectations, manage development operations and teams, and oversee technology and innovation.
Corey’s expertise comes from a sound background in eLearning. He joined Thomson NETg in 1999 in the Strategic Services Business Unit managing a $15M annual revenue pipeline. As the Solutions Support Manager, he developed know-how in analyzing client business needs, project scoping, and project management for organizations such as Intel, EMC, Cisco Systems, IEEE, and government entities including the British Department of Food Health and Hygiene and the State of Alaska. Corey co-developed a production process that enabled NETg to create large multi-course learning programs, consisting of up to 72 hours of training, using multiple subject matter experts and several development teams in order to deliver courses on time and on budget. He also produced innovative financial models and tools that significantly reduced scoping efforts and costs.
Before joining EdgePoint Learning, Corey worked in the non-profit mental health community, managing $3 million of departmental and program budgets for six behavioral health care programs and employing 120 + staff. He re-engineered the organization’s services to remain competitive in a managed-care environment and implemented innovative quality indicators and evaluating procedures.
Corey received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University. His graduate studies were at Southern California University for Professional Studies. Corey is an active philanthropist, volunteering as a crisis negotiations instructor with the FBI and sits on the board of Teen Lifeline.
Jeff Ward
Director of Business Development
Jeff joined the EdgePoint team in 2010 to focus primarily on generating new business, bringing 8 years of sales experience in the web-based training industry. Prior to EdgePoint, he held various sales positions with SkillSoft dating back to 2003. While web-based training is a relatively new strategy for many organizations, Jeff continues to have significant success positioning eLearning solutions as a business-fit. Adept at having strategic conversations with decision makers, he is well-experienced in all areas of eLearning such as off-the-shelf content, custom content, virtual ILT, and LMS integration. With an affable and enthusiastic personality, Jeff credits much of his success to being creative and intuitively thinking of customer’s needs.
Jeff lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and grew up in Naperville, Illinois where most of his family still resides. He is an avid golfer and strong supporter of Autism Speaks. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University.
